The angle i just saw of it going in is unlike anything I've ever seen. That poor crew. Absolutely terrifying. May they rest in peace.
You hit the nail on the head analyzing this accident. Sadly, this was the perfect storm for such an ugly accident. Anything like that happens after V1, and it suddenly becomes a nightmare. Below 10,000 feet is a critical phase of flight.
