If you can’t be honest with yourself, if you have to hide your struggles, try to cover your weaknesses, that’s going to keep you from your potential. God is not looking for the ideal you, the pretend you, the future you. He’s looking for the real you.

  1. When you have doubts and questions, don’t get down on yourself. God’s not disappointed in you. When you’re honest with God about your doubts, your shortcomings, your fears, that’s not a weakness; that’s a strength.
